Dairy Herd Health Clinic

A Dairy Herd Health Clinic will be held on February 16, 2012 at the Log Cabin.   This event is FREE.  The agenda for that day is:

11:00-12:00 p.m….Dr. Randy Shaver, Professor UW-Madison and UW-Extension, Dairy Nutritionist, Topic: “What are we learning about starch for dairy cows?”

 12:00-1:00 p.m….Lunch (provided)

 1:00-2:00 p.m….Tina Kohlman, Dairy and Livestock Agent-Sheboygan County, Topic: “Raising Healthy Calves in Cold Weather”

2:00-3:00 p.m….Pam Ruegg, Milk Quality Specialist, Topic: “What is happening with mastitis and antibiotic resistance on Wisconsin farms?— Real Data from Real Cows on Real Wisconsin Farms”
