Emerald Ash Borer

Confirmation of Emerald Ash Borer in La Crosse County
Where Else Has EAB Been Found in Wisconsin: The tree-killing emerald ash borer has been discovered so far in nine Wisconsin counties, including the recent addition of La Crosse County.  The other counties are Brown, Crawford, Kenosha, Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Vernon, and Washington. Resources: Background information regarding EAB can be found on the web at https://datcpservices.wisconsin.gov/eab/index.jsp and www.emeraldashborer.wi.gov.  Area residents with concerns of infested ash trees should contact a certified arborist or other tree care professional to assist them. As of October 3, 2011, a Federal Order has been issued to Quaranitine La Crosse County, click here to view full order. Additional information/publications, please click here.
